As our Android Developer, you will be responsible for building end-to-end features that help thousands of companies - like Fletcher Hotels, Anne & Max, Dudok, FEBO, Albert Heijn and more - create the best possible Employee Experience for millions of people. 

What you’ll be doing 

• Work on developing new features and improving our native Android app, built primarily in Kotlin;

• We're gradually refactoring the app to use Jetpack Compose for the UI and to use MVVM for the architecture;

• Help with improvements on our technical architecture to stay up-to-date;

• You will have a lot of responsibility in your day-to-day job and will contribute to a fast and stable platform.

About you

• 3+ years of experience as a developer using Java and/or Kotlin;

• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English;

• Experience working in a team with different disciplines;

• An intrinsic curiosity in technological innovations and you are always on top of the latest trends;

• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and rewrite some of that shitty code we wrote in the past (we’re truly sorry);

• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills;

• You like to work (at least) 2 days in the office with like-minded people on a mission;

• Takes initiative and is able to work effectively in a team environment.
